I am truly blessed to have discovered Kindred Spirits and all it has to offer. Being a believer of alternative medicine, and having suffered with chronic sciatic and back pain for many years, I was very receptive to trying Reiki. I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking I was "cured", but the results of the first treatment were amazing. I felt as though the weight of the world had been lifted off my shoulders. I drove home on the Merritt Parkway at 45 mph because all at once the sky was bluer, the autumn leaves were so much more colorful and I felt good about myself for the first time in a very long while! I had numerous, successful Reiki treatments, all of which left me feeling more comfortable than I had been. Last week, I tried Rising Star. Words cannot begin to explain that experience. When I left Kindred Spirits I had no pain at all in my back, hip or thigh. The pain only returns when I allow my stress level to get out of control. I am counting the days until my next Rising Star treatment.
